Day 1; Arrive to Lima, pickup, transfer to your hotel & overnight
On arrival to Lima you will be collected at the airport and directly taken to your hotel in the upscale neighborhood of Barranco. Hotel B is the Relais & Chateaux property in Lima and one of the most beautiful hotels in Peru. Located in seaside Barranco the hotel allows great access to amazing restaurants and great art galleries.
Day 2; Full day exploration of Lima
Today you will have a full day to explore the “City of Kings” Lima. Home to almost one third of the population this massive city has a lot to show for. Beautiful historic buildings, old pre Inca temples, world class museums, the Pacific Ocean and not to forget the new star of the show; Peruvian gastronomy. For the foodies we will gladly assist with any restaurant recommendations, reservations or alternative culinary experiences.
Day 3; Fly to Cusco, pickup & excursion to the Sacred Valley
Today we will collect you from your hotel in Lima for your flight to Cusco. On arrival to this beautiful city in the mountains you will be collected and taken to the Sacred Valley, located on lower altitude the valley allows for a smoother acclimatization. En route to your hotel we will visit the Andean town of Chinchero, known for its typical market and colorful weavings. From here we will visit the salt mines of Maras (supposedly the best salt for a good BBQ) as well as the beautiful circular Inca site of Moray. During this day we will provide you with a luxurious gourmet picnic or alternatively have lunch at Mil, the new Sacred Valley restaurant from famous chef Virgilio Martinez (Central). You will arrive to your beautiful Relais & Chateaux Hotel Sol y Luna in the afternoon where you can relax and untake in the beautiful surroundings meanwhile the sun sets.
Day 4; Full day Sacred Valley excursion
Today we will enjoy a full day exploring the Sacred Valley of the Incas. With your private guide and driver we will enjoy this day on our own pace enjoying the sites, the views and the colorful inhabitants. We recommend visiting the impressive Inca fortress of Pisac as well as the never finished site of Ollantaytambo. A stop at the Pisac artisan and fresh market is also a worthwhile stop. Lunch we will enjoy at one of the oldest Spanish Haciendas in the Valley providing a peaceful haven for an unforgettable lunch. In the afternoon we will return to our Sacred Valley hotel where you can unwind and enjoy the hotel facilities.
Day 5; Hiram Bingham Train to Machu Picchu and private visit
Today we will collect you in the morning from your Sacred Valley Hotel and take you to the train station in Poroy to embark the luxurious Hiram Bingham Train to Machu Picchu. This original Pullman Train will take you back to the days-gone-by of luxury travel with its carriages in dark wood and its classic details. A light brunch is served on board and on arrival to Machu Picchu will be taken to the site in private bus for this train only. You can check in at the only hotel located at the entrance of the site; the Belmond Sanctuary Lodge. In the afternoon when most crowds have left Machu Picchu you will enjoy a private guided visit of this marvel of the Andes after which you can enjoy the hotel high tea time and a quiet evening at leisure.
Day 6; Morning visit to Machu Picchu, hike Huayna Picchu and return to Cusco

Spending the night before at the Sanctuary Lodge has its benefits as you will be able to enter Machu Picchu as one of the first visitors at 6.00am. Today you have a day at leisure at the site allowing you to explore the outer laying parts of the site such as the Sun Gate or the Inca Bridge. If available we will also include the ticket to climb Huayna Picchu Mountain. In the afternoon you can head back to the train station to embark the Hiram Bingham Train back to Poroy where you will be welcomed and taken to Cusco and your next beautiful hotel; the Relais & Chateaux property in Cusco La Casona by Inkaterra.

Day 7; Free morning and afternoon guided excursion of Cusco and the Inca sites
Today you start with a free morning to unwind and enjoy the beautiful city of Cusco. The central location of your hotel will allow you to explore this historic city center on foot. In the afternoon we will collect you for a guided visit of the city as well as the 4 impressive Inca ruins located on the outskirts of town. For lunch and dinner we will make reservations at some of our favorite Cusco restaurants.
Day 8; Titicaca Luxury Train from Cusco to Lake Titicaca
After the impressions of the last couple of days, today is a day to relax and enjoy the amazing highland pampas between Cusco and Puno. Traveling with the luxurious and comfortable Titicaca Train you will cross the 350km to your next destination; Lake Titicaca. On arrival to Puno on the shores of the lake you will be collected and taken to your hotel for the coming two nights; the Relais & Chateaux Titilaka Hotel.
Day 9; Full day explorations on the lake
Today you will be able to enjoy the beauty of the lake to the fullest. Wake up overlooking the lake and enjoy an amazing breakfast with views of the lake before embarking your boat taking you to the floating islands of Uros and the island of Taquile where you will enjoy an amazing gourmet picnic. In the afternoon return to the hotel where you can enjoy the high tea time and see the sun set over the lake. Enjoy the hotels sundowner or a glass of wine at the boat house before dinner a la carte and a nightcap.
Day 10; Visit the Sillustani Towers en route to Juliaca airport
In the morning after breakfast you will travel from the Titilaka hotel to the Airport of Juliaca. En route we will stop at the peaceful site of the Sillustanti Funerary Towers which have been standing here for centuries.
