Explore the Inca Heartland in five days. This package will allow you get to the essence of the Inca heritage. Arrive to the ancient Inca Capital of Cusco from where you will travel to the Sacred Valley and enjoy the peacefulness of this valley dotted with interesting Andean villages and its colorful inhabitants as well as some of the nicest Inca fortresses around. Travel to Machu Picchu in train for a two day exploration of the site and perhaps challenge yourself to climbing Huayna Picchu before returning to Cusco to explore the oldest still inhabited city on the continent.

Day to day Itinerary

Day 1; Arrive to Cusco, pickup & excursion to the Sacred Valley
On arrival to the city of Cusco you will be collected from the airport and in order to allow for a better acclimatization we will travel to the Sacred Valley located on lower altitude for your first night. En route to your hotel in this peaceful valley, we will visit the Inca sites of Pisac and Ollantaytambo as well as the famous Pisac Market.
Day 2; Train journey to Machu Picchu & guided visit
On day two we will collect you in the morning from your Sacred Valley Hotel and head to the train station to embark your train to Machu Picchu. On arrival you will be assisted and by bus taken to this amazing site where you will enjoy a private guided visit. After some free time in the afternoon you can head back to town where your hotel is located.
Day 3; Morning visit to Machu Picchu, hike Huayna Picchu and return to Cusco
On your second day at Machu Picchu you can head up to the site in the early morning and visit the citadel on your own pace. If available we will also include the ticket to climb Huayna Picchu. In the afternoon you will take the train back to Ollantaytambo and from here returned to Cusco where you will be taken to your hotel.
Day 4; Free morning and afternoon guided excursion of Cusco and the Inca sites
Today you start with a free morning to unwind and enjoy the beautiful city of Cusco. The central location of your hotel will allow you to eplore this historic city center on foot. In the afternoon we will collect you for a guided visit of the city as well as the 4 impressive Inca ruins located on the outskirts of town.
Day 5; Transfer to the airport for your onward travel
During the day we will collect you from the hotel and take you to the airport to embark your flight to your next destination.
